The Vimeo app is compatible with 4th and 5th generation (4K) Apple TV devices running the most recent version of tvOS. Older devices (2nd and 3rd generation) with the Vimeo app pre-installed are no longer supported.
To install the app, search for “Vimeo” in the App Store. Follow these instructions to log into your account.
AirPlay
To AirPlay a video to an Apple TV or other AirPlay-capable device using the Vimeo app for iOS, start playing a video within the iOS app, tap the AirPlay icon, and select the device where you want to play your video.
Viewers can also AirPlay videos from the Safari browser on macOS, iOS, and iPadOS. To do so, tap the AirPlay icon in the Vimeo Player and select your preferred device.

Android TV and Amazon Fire TV
The Vimeo Android TV app is supported on any Android TV device (such as NVidia Shield TV, Xiaomi Mi Box, or Sony TVs) running Android 7.0 or newer.
The Vimeo app for Amazon Fire TV is supported on all Fire TV devices.
To install the app, search for “Vimeo” in the Google Play Store or Amazon Fire TV app store. Follow these instructions to log into your account.
Chromecast
To cast a video to a Google Chromecast device, an Android TV device, or a device with Chromecast built-in, start playing a video within the iOS or Android mobile app, tap the Chromecast icon, and select your preferred device.

There are lots of ways to watch Vimeo videos on devices other than your computer — to start, native Vimeo apps are available for these popular app platforms and devices:

- Roku devices (standalone Roku devices as well as Roku-enabled TVs)

TV web browsers
Some smart TV platforms provide web browsers that can access standard websites. The Vimeo website and video player are not tested in TV web browser environments and are not supported. System requirements for playing back Vimeo videos can be found here.
